Amazon Copaíba Oil (Copaifera langsdorffii) or Copaíba Resin Oil is a resinous vegetable oil extracted through perforations in the trunk of the copaibeira, a tree species occurring in the Amazon and in several other regions of Brazil, especially in the Northeast region.
Popularly known as copaíba , copaibeira e pau-de-oil , is a tree belonging to the Fabaceae family and the Leguminosae subfamily: Caesalpinioideaeu.
